why these people call because they think they found something from long, long ago. things that were charged off, and not collectible.... then they inform the credit bureau.. now you have to deal with them... but never say you owe any money.......

Please quit calling. the person who you are trying to reach does not live here.

Claiming I owe simply because my name is the same as someone they are trying to collect from. Extremely rude. I asked for a letter to state that they know my information was removed from their records. Answer: "We will not send you a letter." Q: How will I be assured you have removed me from your system? A: "Mistakes happen, that's life." Q: How did you get my number? A: "You're tying up my line." They called me! I told Rachad. If I ever get a phone call from Porfolio again I will make sure you lose your job. A: "It's a deal." I will guarantee it if they call again.

This clown called my step mom and my dad just this morning with the same line " This is an important business matter" and that i need to call him back...I live in canada and my parents are in the states...Got the call from my step mom at 815 this morning and called the number back and it never even rung it just stated that it was a Portfolio Company on the greeting..I'm sitting here thinking who the Hell is this company representing? I didn't even know it was a company trying to collect money from me until I did some digging online this morning and found this site. What a bunch of a-holes. why is this legal but the average person that trys to be a con-artist ends up in jail...i'm not for con-artist but it doesn't seem to me that companies like this aren't far from doing the same thing...baggering you and insulting you until you breakdown and pay them money you don't even owe..its ridiculous, the crap even goes on in canada but to my knowledge not as much as in the states...hell i dont even live there and they somehow claim i owe money

About a month ago I received that Portfolio Recovery had SOLD my account to another collection agency. I am still receiving calls from them and they have yet to tell me who I originally owed the money to. Sounds like they are trying to make an easy buck off of people that don't want to make waves.

These people call everyday no matter the time. 8:00am

These people pester, badger, insult trying to collect from 17 years ago. Accusing me of not paying my bills.

Daily calls is perstering and badgering.

The ignore all requests to stop calling.
Statue of limitation is way out.

I dispute this because I am not sure if it is really owed or not. It is not on my credit report.

They ignore the Fair Debt Collections Act.
