Allied Interstate-- part of IQor a global outsourcing company. President and CEO is Vikas Kapoor. On the Iqor website they tout their emphasis on "compliance" and even have a press release about how the strongly police agents "compliance." Well, they are failing miserably. The company has called our phone for weeks7-10 times a day-- no ID on who they are, no message, just robo call after robo call. Calls start at 5:20 am!! I called them back and got the same song and dance everyone else has. Foreign accent, want me to say whether I am someone I have never heard of. Asked for their mailing address. All they wanted to know was why I was asking for it. I told the agent that I wanted it because I wanted to communicate with them in writing. After this exchange a couple of times, I was forwarded to a supervisor, Sunny Sharma. He did the same thing- why did I want the address? Again, because I wanted to communicate in writing. Finally got him to cough up the PO box. I already had their corporate addresses phone numbers; just wanted to know if they would comply. Then I asked him where he was calling from. Sharma said that "their headquarters were in Columbus, Ohio." I told him I didn't ask where the headquarters were I asked where he was calling from. He said, "India." I asked where in India? He said, New Dehli. In my opinion, this company is violating a lot of laws and should be shut down. Everyone should report them to the Federal Trade Commission, their state attorney generals, business bureaus, and call the police and and their telephone provider to file a harrasment complaint.
