Calling several times a day, mornings, nights and weekends. There is a robo call and some vm not addressing me by name or the name of the person with a debit. Additionally if I owe a debit I also expect a letter or certified mail from the company. Nothing except incessant calls.

They are using the name of a real debt collection agency called GC who are legitimate. This is a scam....they were calling about a loan for my ex-husband hat was forgiven after his death. Just search the number....so fake! The scary part is somehow they got a hold of personal information.

Want the calls to stop? Pick up the phone and tell them that. Owe a bill? Pay it. They have to verify you because it is their job. If they didn't and disclosed info to you, just to discover that you are not who they are looking for then they broke the law. Stop being naive. Most of you know why they are calling and are just avaioding the call like the rest of us, so stop complaining

GCC collection company called me about a Sallie Mae school loan that I already paid off through NEC. It seems the info did not transfer over and I just need to fax them a copy of my paid balance letter.

This number calls me 3-5 times a day using alternate names. Brian, Dave, Steven, Misty, and they say the same thing. This is a recorded line, who am I speaking with? I tell them who is it you want? They then say sir this is a recorded line can you verify your personal information. I then said, no I cannot. If you called me then you must know who it is you are wanting.
THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE. Don't give out personal info to people you don't know.

Caller Stated his name was Ryan Lawrey Caller ID showed his number as 301.637.8953 but wanted a return call to 866.437.1963. Caller did not state what the call was about.
