Asked for my husband by first and last name. I asked who it was and he said "Steven". When I said "Steven from...?" He replied arrogantly, "Steven from Allied...LLC. Do you have a problem with that?" I proceeded by hanging up the phone.

I just had started my first job at Sephora since being laid off for 8 months. On my second day on the job i received a message from my manager. She said a man name Steven Honeyager called from Allied and he needs to speak with you. I don't have any Steven's in my social circle so I ignored the message thinking it must be a wrong person. im mean, I just started here! In addition to the calls at work, I started getting the same messages from family and friends. I thought who in the hell is this! I thought it was a pesky salesman. After a few days the calls stopped. It was not until a month after the first message was left at work i receive a letter that was sent to my manager. Its source was Allied interstate. it was a garnishment letter!! They are going to be taking 112.00 out of my pay check every month! How can this happen!! I tried to stop it! I called the number on the letter, A rep said that I should have called them back otherwise they cant work with me, they cant stop it because I refused to handle it. I have so many bills to pay and this just makes my life that much harder!

My advice to everyone:
1. Call these people back. If you don't know the person call them anyway!
2. Don't wait to handle important financial obligations, they will find you. your SSN is attached to wherever you work!
3. If you cooperate, life will be good. these people can make what already is a struggle that much more difficult! They will work with you.

I received a call from this number at work. I have never given the number to anyone besides my wife. when I called back I spoke with a man named Stephen and he broke down my problem that I had with their client USA FUNDS. They were about to garnish my wages!! He helped me resolve the issue and saved me a financial headache and not to mention the embarrassment at work. I had no idea!. I'm glad i called back!

A man named Steven left a message saying he had a federal order of wage w/h for one of my employees - left a reference number and his phone number to call back. When I returned the call, it was a unidentified voicemail box recording. The company he claimed to be with is Allied Interstate.

this number call me at work. i haven't given my work number to anyone!!! I was given 3 messages to call " steven honeyager". When I called back i got a voice mail. Then they called my cell and left a message saying "do to federal law I am prohibited from saying what this call is about. But i can say that this is a time sensitive matter. Some documents will be forwarded to your job and you definitely dont want that to happen without giving an opinion on this matter first."
