Individual asked for my husbands name, I said he was unavailable and asked if I could assist them. they said NO, and abrubptly hung up.

Extremely rude callers. Wanted to speak with my wife and refused to tell me any information about why they were calling. Also refused to say what department they were with, only that they were fifth third. Demanding to speak with the caller's boss. He said no multiple times and then finally gave me to his boss.

Boss said his name was Bill Barton, which was probably a lie. Bill Barton sat in silence while I bitched him out for refusing to take me off their call list. I said I have been a 5/3 business customer for 5 years and if I got another call I'd yank all 50k I had out of 5/3 and take it somewhere else.

He said he can't promise they won't call again. If this is really fifth third and not some scam operation with this Bill Barton guy, it is hands down the worst treatment of a customer I've ever experienced with any company I've done business with in my life.

Absolutely unbelievable.

They have been calling me for months. Says they are calling about my Visa account. When I told him I don't have a 5/3rd Visa account, he fell silent. This is a scam, 5/3rd is aware it is a scam.

The caller said he was in Juarez, Mexico? Don't give out any personal info tp these people. I plan to have to local manager sit down with me and call the # and see what happens.

I have received more than 30 calls, morning noon, night and weekends. Only shows toll frre number. No message. Looks like a sales call. When I answered they gave me another number to call, saying it was in regards to my account. When i called that number and would not give my SS info over the phone, they hung up on me. When i called back they said it was in regards to a charge on my credit card to cover an overdraft on my checking account back in November.
Now they are expecting piled up late fees on top of this...............What a scam!!

Same thing i got like 6 calls today. it started at 8 this morning,

Called my home three times on October 1st, 2010 without leaving a message. Called 4 times Oct. 4. Called 6 times on Oct. 5th. They never left a message. I finally called the number back & threw a big fit. They were asking personal questions of where my husband worked. Asked for my phone number. Told them they should know it since they called six times in one day & that I didn't owe them one red dime.Called my local bank the next day & reported them. Told the lady at Fifth Third if I got anymore calls I would jerk every cent out of my accounts & go elsewhere if I got one more call. Informed them if I wanted to buy a CD or anyother service I would call them. Worst part is I am a Cancer patient on bed rest & I definately did not need all their calling & keeping me awake over their telemarketing calls.
