I keep getting a call from this bill collector for Alfredo. I want them to stop calling.

Advised I had borrowed money online and they were trying to settle it before company issued warrant for my arrest. I told them they were crazy I never borrowed money on line and reported to local police.

I am a debt collector, and we have to strictly follow the FDCPA - now all of a sudden at my place of employment, this number has been calling and asking for someone that has never even been staffed here. I have told them to stop calling, just yesterday alone, they called 7 times and wouldn't say a word. It's very frustrating when I'm trying to work and talk with customers. Is there a way to block this caller from a landline?

I just got a call from 866.487.6614 claiming too be MCO, an "arbitration firm". They said I owed from a loan from back in 2010. They said I could pay him now, or I could give them my physical address so I could be served. He also threatened to have me served at work. I told them that it sounded like a scam and advised them to do what they gotta do.

These people are scammers they are all calling us stating we had payday loans something needs to be done fast. Now they are calling my father, because I blocked their numbers.. My dad is 84 and if they give him a heart attack I will press charges.

I've been getting calls from this number 866-487-6613. They've left multiple messages for me to call them back because they had a claim under my name for a online payday loan I had from 2009. I never did a payday loan and it isn't on my credit as I keep up with it. They tried telling me they are doing great me a favor as they don't want to have me served at my job. I totally agree these are scams. I told them well please serve me so I can know what this is about?

A definitive scam which matches many of the comments above. They say my wife took out a payday loan in Jan 2010 and they have the last 4 numbers of her SSN. Of course we would never get a payday loan under any circumstance. During the call, the guy, I'll call him marble mouth as he could barely enunciate a word, kept saying we were going to be served and sued and that he was authorized to take immediate payment. I am obviously concerned that they had some of our private info, but this is an obvious scam. Be careful, and never never give them money.

After they called and I went through the "0" dial, then disconnect, that the recorded message encourages you to do, I called them back. They actually knew who they were talking to (probably caller ID), so I asked them what this was about. The gal says MCO on behalf of someone called Tire Capital. I told her that's a made up business name, as I've never done business with any company by that name in my life. I then told her to have the company send me a letter detailing what I supposedly owed, to which she said they had...which of course they have not. I asked for the company address, so I could write to them. She refused to give it to me. So I told her point-blank she was running a scam, this is a made up debt, and that she should under NO circumstances call this number again. I finished by saying if and when I get a letter via First Class mail informing me of any of this, then and only then will I take any action. Until then, I will assume it's a scam with fake company names and the whole shot. Interestingly enough, she said nothing about any dollar amount, only that I would be taken to court. Now...I've BEEN to court with debt collectors before, and a legitimate debt collector never, EVER employs these tactics. I should have mentioned that to her...however, since she kept talking even after I tried to say anything, I doubt it matters.

Received calls from 866 487 6580. Claims to be MCO and I will be served for a reason that I could not understand because the person I talked to sounded like he had a mouth full of cotton. Blocked number....rhen they called me from 866 487 6613. Used an Air horn to blow the POS ear drums out. Bet they won't call back. He is probably is busy with a bleeding ear drum. So tired of these call!!!! BEWARE DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFO!!!!! I can't believe people actually fall for this!!!!

Got similar calls today from 866-487-6613. Company uses variety of different phone numbers to confuse caller Id and call blockers. Obviously not a reputable company! Instead of trying to scam people, these guys should be running for "public" office. They would be right at home among the politicians running for office right now.

They call from two different numbers: 866-487-6613 and 866-487-6580. They are not an accredited business. They are running a scam. They will not even give you their address so a person can send a Cease Communication Letter. These people are relentless. They keep calling me and my parents. They are running a quick scam and I seriously wish they could be shut down before they defraud some poor soul of money. They like to use cheap threats and say they will send a process server, or you will go to jail, blah blah blah. I told them to send me something in writing and they won't. They said the only thing I would get form them is form a process server. Well best of luck to them because they are breaking every law of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Report these people to the BBB and to your Attorney General.

they are calling each day and are also calling my parents asking for my uncle who died 20 years ago. putting alot of stress and emotional pain on people. they need to have this happen to them

They call daily asking for Kathleen. We have had this phone number for nearly 6 years - no Kathleen. I have tried to get to an agent and every time I press the number the prompt indicates they disconnect me. I have called back several times and an mechanical voice answers and says, "good-bye" before disconnecting. Absolutely ridiculous. If they are actually trying to collect a debt from this woman I'm not sure how she would ever get in touch with them.

They just started calling me from this number for a payday loan that was deposited into an account I closed in 2009, I supposedly got this loan in 2010. Addition numbers for them are 844-279-7431 & 866-487-6580. I filed a complaint at consumerfinance.gov
