Just received phone call from AMEX, asking for our Office Manager, by name, and said that they were from AMEX, and that was on a recorded line.
As I transferred the call, they hung up!

A 3rd party, not AMEX. Wanting to sign you up for an AMEX card. They start out by saying it's a recorded line. That's a great way to build relationships! NOT!!!
