The people at Portfolio Recovery are genuine bottom feeders of debt collection industry. They buy old statute expired debt and through harassment tactics try to collect 10 to 30 cents on the dollar. Of course the minute anything is collected, the statute date resets to day 1 and their other outfits and ambulance chasers come after you. If you have noticed their letter of settlement is only for the debt with them, not original debtor or the next place they sell it to. The only way to fight these guys is to get with your state authorities. These guys know all the Federal loopholes.

They never stop calling. I blocked them a long time ago. I feel that anyone who really wants to contact me would leave me a voicemail. They do not. Don't tell them who you are. Not that it matters, they never go away. I've been getting calls from them for over a year now, from multiple numbers. Blocked them all. They back off for a while then come back a month later. I love call control. :)

They have already called on a new business phone number that is 3 days old........there is no personal name associated with the phone or anything like that. Parasites.....claim they can't remove a number form the calling list without you giving them your name.......which I will NOT do.

I am on National DO NOT Call and also mail yet they do not respect my wishes and are sharing personal and private information. This Portfolio Recovery Associates claimed to be debt collectors BUT refused to give me any information and they wanted MY personal information over the phone. I will not and do not give out ANY information over the phone. I am special needs and disabled I do not own anything or have any debt. Experian how can you just get away with this? This is harassment and violating DO NOT call National list! I should not be stalked for checking my credit score with you Experian and have Contacted the BBB And my Lawyer. Next my lawyer is coming after both of you. It is against the law to do this yet you are because you will only pay fine or get slap on the wrist! DO NOT Call/Mail means Do Not yet they do anyway. This is your fault Experian my own bank can't call me yet I gave you my correct cell phone number and now after all these years I get call from Portfolio!? You sold or shared my private information and I have no idea how many other innocent victims you are doing this to. I am saving, faxing to lawyer and suing whoever violates my do not call/mail! Because being nice does NOT work.

They kept calling now I blocked them they don't leave a message if so I don't pick up numbers I don't know they Cale's without caller ID. I never pick those up
