You have to admire how persistent these people are. They've been calling multiple times per day for weeks. The vague automated message says they are processing a claim with some long number. Occasionally I might answer just to play with them and waste their time. They used to call themselves "First Recovery" but now go by the name "Map Processing Solutions." One one them said they were in Miami FL but wouldn't give me a street address.
They claim to be a collection agency but won't reveal who the money is owed to or how much until I tell them part of my social security number. Obviously I'm not going to give that information to a stranger so we are at an impasse. (Maybe next time I will make up some random number and see if that gets to the next step.) I ask them to send the information in writing but they never do.
Sometimes they get very abusive and yell things like "We'll see you in court!" I would like to see them in court and laugh as they are hauled off for harassing and scamming people.
Received a call. Asked them to wait while I googled the name of the company. Told the caller everything I pulled up about the company was related to a scam. I asked them for the physical address of the company and she claimed they weren't allowed to disclose the information, yet, they have the last 4 digits of my SS#. I have asked to send all information by certified mail like any reputable company would. I haven't received anything in the mail, no one has shown up at my house or place of employment. They have called my friends, my ex-husband, my ex-inlaws, my ex-employer. They have my old bank account info. This has been going on for years. This will probably never stop. Try to take it with a grain of salt. My credit report hasn't been affected.
Scam call. Reports that a serious financial matter must be addressed. Calls started about a week ago and come every other day. If not contacted, serious consequences can occur.
Robo call every day, different times. Leaves another number to call back to make arrangements for settlement of a debt I don't have!
This is a SCAM I've never i my life applied for a payday loan. These people called me over and over again. I told them to stop calling my phone i know its a a scam they hung up and called my phone back to back for at least 20 minutes straight.
