same here...saying they will be coming by my work or home tomorrow...yeah yeah...got this call many times and no one showed up on my doorstep of course. I think this should be stopped...how do they keep getting away with this? Who do you report them to? grrrrrrrrrrr so mad that someone actually has a "job" doing this...they should have a job in the jailhouse...washing someones underwear!

Called from unknown number stating a file has been placed against me. Intent to file. Will come to my home or place of employment if I don't call. All my debt cleared a few months ago so I'm sure like an earlier person said, they bought for pennies and trying to collect.

Got a call from a blocked number, informed me their was paperwork that they needed to serve me with for intent- left a # for me to call for more info (my claimant). 866-582-8594. My caller Melissa Crawford. Hmmm... When I called, they requested a "good faith" payment, which was to be electronically withdrawn from my checking account with a check by phone feature... Don't sound up & up to me!!!!

its a scam. people fall for it all the time. save their vm and screen shot download your phone bill for proof they are calling and leaving vm. It's against the law for them to threaten you by saying they are going to serve you or file a claim blah blah blah. They keep calling because people fall for it all the time and pay them money... basically they bought a ton of debt for pennies so they can try to collect. Your number at some point was listed on a debt that they bought for probably 1 penny.

Crazier yet they called my sisters house asking for me. I just passed info on to my attorney and called it a day. It's total garbage. They should arrest them . I mean seriously to think people fall for it and give them money. They barked up wrong tree this time. Idiots
