Financial Asset Management Systems, Inc. called from (866) 585-2126 on 1-22-2020 at 1:53 p.m. They are attempting to collect on defaulted student loans that were charged off for 7.5 years before falling off my credit report. The debt is still owed to the original debtor. No one can sue me for the private loan debt.
They are calling from different numbers each day. Friday they spoofed two local numbers in an attempt to get me to answer. Screen all my calls, they do not leave a voicemail message and are programmed under FAMS_Spam_DONOTANSWER, silence the calls and they go unanswered while they continue to ring silently if the business phone is on. Too bad they do not leave voicemails, it would be nice to hear their employees beg.
My business phone is normally off so debt collection attempts (by the same company) only last a few months each year then start again at the beginning of each year. My personal phone number is set to block anyone not programmed into my contacts for the last 5 years, no idea if they call my personal number any longer. They get forwarded to my nonexistent voicemail if they do call “This person has a voicemail box that has not been set up yet."
