Received a voice mail message from this number. Figured it was spam so I looked it up. Then I thought I would call it back to see what kind of story I would get. Got a very polite man by the name of John (I think he said his last name was Stein). He asked who he was speaking too. I told him I would not give my name but from caller id he could tell what number I was calling from. He asked if this was the number I received the message on and I said yes. He came back and said yes they did leave a message. Told me he was with Dynamic Recovery Solutions and they were trying to get ahold of xxxxxxx xxxxxxxxx. It was someone I never heard of and I told him so. He asked if it was a family member or friend that may have used my number and again I said I never heard of the person. He apologized for calling and stated he would have my telephone number removed from xxxxxx xxxxxxx's file.
I have no identifiers on my voice mail. Left message. Stated it was a debt recovery company. Stated to call this phone # . No way!
Debt collection so they say- left an automated message- I owe nothing so I ignored
I too had a taped message which did tell me the name, Dynamic Recovery Solution.
I have had an ongoing problem with their system. They have a similar phone number to our business, we have a mail order business and receive many calls. They press a button on their end of the line which transfers their collection department to us.
Here we go again . . . I dealt with one of their "managers" who promised to bring this issue up with their members . . . it was OK for three weeks but it looks like it has started again.
A Mr. David Patrico told me that I was crossing a line and was bordering on rude while trying to get a number with which I could get this fixed . . . he has no idea as to how rude I would have liked to have been. Tomorrow I am to call "Wayne" at 202-455-4705 to get this resolved . . . I don't think I'll hold my breath . . . one more thing . . . Mr. Patrico told me that their company is a member of the BBB and had an excellent rating . . . anyone that has dealt with the sales department of the BBB knows that they are a "for profit" company and have no power to regulate, mandate, fine or otherwise do anything beyond stating how long a company has been a member. We stopped paying their extortion money years ago . . . they keep calling.
a debt collection service
