it is virgin mobile collections calling because you have outstanding bill!!!

i to have been getting call from that number & no reply when i answer it so i hang up & then a couple hours later they call again.Im not sure who it was

I spoke to Virgin Mobile who confirmed that this was not them. I called the number back and asked for the operator's employee ID number, to which she replied that she could not give that out without my telephone number and full name.

Virgin Mobile confirmed that they would, under any and all circumstances, provide an employee ID number if asked.

They were phishing for my credit card number. I called Virgin Mobile while on the phone with the scammer's "manager". Virgin confirmed that I was only on one line with them.

Clearly a scam, please report to the Canadian Anti-Fraud center and DO NOT under ANY circumstances give out your credit card number or personal information. If anyone calls you to ask for a credit card number to pay your cell-phone balance, hang-up and dial 611 from a Virgin phone. From here you can speak to a legitimate representative and pay your bill securely.

I called it back.It is Virgin Mobile.

Claims to be my phone carrier, (virgin), and asked for my credit card to pay my balance. Clearly a scam.
