PNC Mortgage

Michelle Schmidt from PNC Bank called to speak to someone who doesn't live here. She gave her extension as 65224. Very suspicious.

They left VM and Said they were from PNC. When I called back ext 44700 they Asked for my social security. I said I would not give my ss to someone I would not. This is a scam.

Receiving constant calls to my cell phone which is my second phone used by my wife. Have no idea how they got our cell # because hardly use this second phone. They don't even have the right name for my wife. The various callers state that they are from PNC Bank and that it is important to call them back. One call indicated that this was debt collection call. We don't business with PNC. My suspcion is that this is a Phising Scheme attempting to steal indentity information. They direct the call to the same extension and don't know how so many people that call could have the same extension number. Our phones are listed on the DO NOT Call register. This should be referred to the law enforcement authorities.

I just received a call from this number and I let it go to VM. The caller was from PNC Bank looking for a Brooke McKenzy (most likely from Michigan). I have received other calls in the past from debt collectors looking for this same girl whom of which I do not know. They said to have her call then back at this number and ask for Ava at ext. 49234. Who ever this person is must be in some serious financial troubles!

On 9/30/2010 John from PNC called and left a message that there was something wrong with my fax # and could I call them to give them the correct one. On 10/6 2010 I received four calls from a fax machine at the same # (866-622-2657) between 9:00 am and 9:33am. I do not do any business with PNC nor do I have a fax.

Call 20 times a day all through the night when children are sleeping. There is no one on the line when answered. Just harrassing no stop.
