My 84 yr old dad dialed a wrong number to obtain his prescriptions from CVS. He explained what he wanted and gave his credit card number when asked. He thought he was paying for his prescriptions. When he realized the man was trying to sell him discounts for shopping, he said no, do not charge my card. But the caller insisted. My dad hung up and the caller, who has caller ID continued to call him back and try to have him give his credit card number to a women to verify he wanted to buy a marketing program. My dad cancelled his credit card. The credit union told him "CORV VISION GROUP" had tried to charge to his card. I phoned the number to ask questions and they tried to sell me the same marketing program. I could hear many phone workers in the background. When I questioned further he hung up. I am concerned that someone has a number simimar to the CVS prescription card phone no for federal retirees to obtain the credit card numbers of retired workers who call a wrong number.
