I have received several calls from this number over the course of two weeks. There is an automated caller that claims to be from Bank of America. It sounds legit, and they asked for me by name, though that in itself doesn't mean much as this information is available easily.

An automated prompt asks for my 5 digit zip code or the last four digits of my social security number.

RED FLAG.

I pressed '9' to speak with a representative, and when one came on, I asked why they were calling and they said:

"Unless you confirm your identity we are unable to speak with you".

That was a HUGE red flag.

I suggest avoiding this call and avoid exposing yourself to identity theft.

This is not a legit service. Calls as 'Card Services' and when answering only gives an automated message with one option to hit 9 to talk to a representative. Immediately they claim they are just offering a lower interest rate for your credit card (which we do not have a single one). When trying to speak to the person who answered to tell them to remove us from their call list and that we do not own a credit card the 'representative' repeatedly kept asking 'do you love me?' No joke! Repeated this question to me at least 5 times, saying nothing else but 'hello'! This is a scam call and do not bother with it and certainly do NOT give personally identifying information. It is not a professional service.

They keep calling us many times a day. We called them back at 866-635-4316 and told them to stop calling us. They mentioned some different name. so we told them that we do not know such person and requested to stop calling our number again. They said they will remove our number from their calling list. We had the same problem before with Discovxx Card and they kept calling us many times a day. Finally we called them back to stop calling us. Discovxx Card also said some other people' name which we do not know. Since then Discovxx Card has never called us again. So, call them back and request to remove your number, and it may work.

Its Bank of America. If this number is calling you then you obviously have credit card debt with them. Just pick it up make a payment arrangement with them and they will leave you alone.

Credit cards from Bank of America are issued by FIA Card services. This number is them, calling you for one reason or another.

Although legit, they are still scum of the earth, as they are essentially debt collectors.

But they operate your Bof A Credit cards

FIA Card Services/Bank of America, they handle the collections for B of A. I talked to Denise Tamayo today as they call non stop from 7am my time until after 9pm, weekends and weekdays. I am not the person they are after but they won't stop calling me. So today, I filed complaints with my states Attorney General and with the FCC. Since they've called before 8am, I am considering a civil suit and have an attorney already on retainer. I'll keep you posted. This is my cell phone number they call.

Use window 7's scan and fax. Fax a short message like "don't call my cell phone". Program the fax program to fax them 99 times, and every 1 minute to drive them crazy. Sweet revenge!

May 1st, 2012. They keep calling and of course they are not Bank of America. They have my name and cell number already, somehow. Now they want me to give them my social # claiming that my account is at risk...... BE CAREFUL!!!!!
They have also been sending scam e-mails from "Bank of America"
subject": Deactivated Bank Account...

That's CARD services, Anonymous. They've been calling me 2 or 3 times a day, every day for the past week, but it leaves no message or who they are. I just looked the number up on the Internet, and people are saying it's Bank of America Card Services.

be aware about this number 866-635-4316 it's a scam. i called the number and there is someone to speak with but he doesn't follow the ethical proceedure of BoA.

This is NOT Bank of America! They are scammers phishing for personal info so they can steal from you. They are very smart and have been doing this for years. I don't know why whomever supplies the "800" number is allowed to continue their service.

This number keeps calling my cell phone. I do not have and never have had an account with Bank of America. When they call, they are looking for someone named Claude. I am female and my name isn't Claude. They are phishing. They guys name is Phillip on the other end and he thinks I should write a letter and fax it. There is no way in you know where I am wasting my time writing a letter. I run a business off of my cell phone. I can't change the number.

866-635-4316 is the #that calls me they let it ring bout 8 times ,and call bout 10 times a day. They are looking for someone that doesn't live here.I've called they company since Aug 09 bout the calls and each time they told me they would remove my #. But as of today Jan 7/09 still get calls 2 by 8 this morning. So I called them again said it was removed and turned around and called me back. So I called them agian want a supervisor and of course they couldn't reach one.
