I answered the phone and the guy said "Hi (my name)"; I thought it was my repair guy who was going to call me with an estimate, so I said "hey!" He said "Our call is being recorded for quality assurance and I just need to verify a couple of things." I realized it wasn't my repair guy. I said "who is this and what do you want?" He said "I'll give you all the details but I need to confirm that we have the right person, can you give me your current address?" I was freaked because they knew my name, so I quickly said "NO" and hung up. They have not called back but I'm still nervous because they knew my full name, not sure what to do except to block that number!

Beware of credit card offers from unknown banks. These bastards have partnered with an unethical financing institution to offer low limit credit cards to victims of debt that has gone past the statute of limitation, thus unrecoverable by legal means. What these immoral monkeys do is get their unethical partner to get the person of the debt to accept a credit card with a small limit on it. If the victim accepts the card, it comes to them with zero credit because these bastards already hit the card up for payment on the debt that WAS past the statute of limitations of which it isn't any more because the bogus payment resurrected the debt. Now the victim has a resurrected debt to deal with plus a payment on a new credit card that has no further credit amount left on it.
