Last year, I told Videotron that if their telemarketing department call me again, I would switch company. Guess what ? They called me again. So, after 19 years of being a loyal costumer, I cancelled all my services with Videotron. Maybe if they lose enough costumers, their telemarketing department would stop harassing people on the phone.
I was called 3 times from this number that I did not answer. I also have an option on my phone to block certain phone numbers so I entered this number. It will not ring again.
The caller is Videotron. These idiots called me 15 times the same day, letting the phone ring 3 minutes each times. Then they called the nursing home where my mother lived before dying 2 years ago (disturbing and bothering the staff who are overloaded with work and have more important things to do) They are too stupid to understand this basic concept : if someone never answer your calls, maybe this person don't want to talk to you !! All this because they want to sell me a stupid cellphone. Also, they sent me publicity every weeks in my mailbox, which always end up in the trash polluting the planet. The idiots working at this company are all jerks.
I didn't recognized the caller's number on my caller ID so i let it ring, ring and ring until it stop !!

For all such calls, my simple solution. If it comes from Unknown or a name or number I don't know, I don't answer. Another solution, pick up and put the caller on hold for a few minutes. Their line stays open and the person can't call on that line until you hang up. This works best if you have a second phone.

I agree with you, but when I did so, they called the nursing home where my mother lived before dying 2 years ago, asking for my schedule (bothering the staff who have more important things to do) So, instead of bothering me, they harass some essentials workers doing a job way more important than theirs useless telemarketing bullshit.
