this number 866 723 7373 called and stated that they are collection agency. they even send letters to my work place for student loan payment. They call my cell phone which I do not know how they get my number. They said they, collection agency...my cell phone is 808 492 2005

They called me eight days straight. I have been redialing Navient over and over just to get revenge . It drives them crazy. It's fun. Try it. I was calling repeatedly till they caved. I received a message on my answering machine telling me to stop calling them. Now they have promised to stop calling me. I won ! ! It's the only way to make them stop calling. ! ! !
Their security officer left his phone number 302-283-8106 for me to call if I have any questions. Do any of you have any questions.? Call them and be heard ! ! !

They called but didn't leave message...Not many local banks would not leave a complete message for call back.
Might be for college students who lived in apt downstairs but had to quit school since it was too expensive.
I'm guessing all these calls are for people who quit school in the 2008 depression and moved back home with parents or got jobs in better economies in different states. Since people get cell phones and move to get better jobs, the chance of finding young people are slim to none. They may have not remembered that money was loaned or thought banks may have written off a few thousand dollars after the big bank bailout. Either way it is a waste of time to spend money paying telemarketers to call people when the chance of breaking even is very small. I'm guessing that the tax laws require a bank or loan company to pay someone to try to collect a debt before allowing a deduction or write-off of a bad debt.
