This person keeps calling from various toll free numbers,looking for someone named Katie K... I have previously advised them I have no idea who they are looking for and to remove my number.... yet they keep calling!!

They call my mother leaving her a voicemail about 4 months ago and they also called my 78 year old grandmother about 2 years ago whom i do not speak to very often leaving a voicemail and JUST 4/23/18 called my ex which is also my kids father - which we have not been together for over 7 years - they left him a voicemail from Linda Lawson - From the first call to my mother and grandmother - It worried me as anyone would be if someone is claiming FRAUD. I pulled my credit report to see if anything was listed in collections/Fraud - Nothing pulled up - I have had the same number for OVER 10 years , my own house in MY name, all my utilities are in my name, my car note is in my name, my insurance is in my name and i have been with my current employer for over 3 years - If these people really wanted something SERIOUS they would know HOW to contact me with NO PROBLEMS!! -- My 2nd job was a BILL collector and i worked there for over 5 years which ANY time we had to collect anything, we HAD to do our MIRANDA RIGHTS ONCE we VERIFIED the last 4 digits, if the consumer would not verify, we would try address, if they didn't confirm that we would have to END the call - There are STATE LAWS and RULES in a collection agency in EVERY state on HOW TO COLLECT a bill -- If this was a serious fraud they would have to SERVE YOU PAPERS. Committing fraud is a very serious issue and it would be handled in a very professional manner. Never a phone call. --- I wanted to let people know as i see many comments on here and we seem to get upset, Just know that if ANYONE is collecting a bill, it should ALWAYS be handled in a professional manner as ALL their calls are recorded (due to AUDITS that collection agencies have multiple times a year). Look up your state collection laws and you will get more familiar :-) I hope this helps anyone dealing with these pieces of shit! :-)

I was called by a gentleman who said I had a fraudulent transaction that I made from bank of America that I had 5 years ago I knew right away it was a scam and I called him out on it and then he started yelling at me I just hung up but how did they get my social security number????? I reported it to the bbb
