collection company to remove my name. I am on the No call list. They hang up before I finish my sentence. More than done with this harassment.

Call started with a female voice apologing for the wait/inconvenience and something like please stay on the line. Then music played for a minute or so before a male voice came on the line and asked to speak to Forrest Brooks. An internet check confirmed that this is a scam.

I've had my current phone number for about 3 years, and ever since then, this number has been calling me looking for a certain person. I always tell them they have the wrong number, then they proceed to ask if I know the man they're looking for. I tell them no, and then they ask if I know where to find him! They sound more and more irritated each time they call. I want to call them back and see what happens but I'm scared..

Keep a log of the phone calls. Then find an attorney for yourself. This is an TCPA/FDCPA violation. They are trying to get you to pay for someone else. Once you told them to stop calling that is they were supped to do, stop calling

another one of the calls that hang up as soon as I answer, very tiresome these annoyances from what is probably a Robo-caller. Damn things need to be banned completely. No more I say, IF someone wants to call let it be a live person so I can tell them to stop calling me in violation of the Do Not Call Lists I'm on.
