Wow ... wish I'd known. Been doing online shopping for Nissan products and now my phone is ringing from this number. Anyone know how to "unsub" from whomever/whatever is calling?

Was shopping for Fords... damn them.

I was shopping for a new car (Honda) and started to get calls from this number.

Put my number in to ford.com and made sure that the "subscribe for marketing" was set to no.
The next day, Ive received 3 phone calls from this number from marketing people.

Ford is guilty of signing me up for this spam. I use skype, so blocking them is super easy. Not going to bother telling them to remove me unless they call from another number.

yes, I been getting way too many of these car dealers calling.

i have block on my cell, but i think they keep trying new attacks.

i already purchased a car, so my bad for ever screwing up and giving anyone my "real" number....

.....I'll probably get a new phone number soon when I switch carriers.

I gave cell # to a Toyota dealership and the calls have started with no voicemail...

I haven't given Ford my cell #, but I went to Paragon Honda in Queens yesterday around noon and gave them my cell #. Got a call from this number yesterday evening at 5:27 and another this evening at 5:21. Didn't answer either one.

I've also been shopping for Fords, accidentally submitted some info to a dealership, decided to cancel out before I sent it. Looks like just completing the form was enough to put me in their "pestering" database. I didn't answer and certainly won't in the future.

I have also been called by this number 6 times in the last 5 days. Last week I had gone through Ford's website to get a quote, so I'm assuming that's the reason as others have suggested.

I have not picked up yet, thinking the calls would stop after several attempts... guess I was wrong.

Same here, I filled out a form on Ford's web site and they have been calling every couple of hours. Nobody is there, it just disconnects. I will stop answering and see if it goes away.

I had submitted an online quote to a couple of Ford dealerships and after that I have been receivin a call from this number almost once every 2 hour! I called them back and they said they were ding a follow up, so I did my research and here's what I found:
They are calling from morpace.com and according to their web site "morpace is a Morpace is a Honomichl Top 50 market research and consulting firm that helps clients large and small get the information they need to make strategic decisions."
That's acceptable but hanging up every time I picked up the phone is not! I asked well then, what do you hang up every time I pick up?! They said "wow! It's strange!!!!!" !! : )
Finally I asked them ro remove my phone # from their database, it took another few calls for that to happen.. So keeping your information private is always the best way to go.
