This is a payday loan collection office. Will state that they are going to take you to court and that they are going to use a location service to come to your place of employment to speak with your boss. They are using threatening tactics that should be against the law. They are trying to claim there is a FDIC BANKING FRAUD. Make sure you tell them that your lawyer told you that they are to provide the name of the company that they are representing because they will refuse

Jefferson Capital - I receive calls daily at my work and when I identify myself they hang up? Only once they stayed on the line and said they are looking for a person who does not even work here?! I told them they are calling a business and they said they will continue to call until they speak to that person...who we don't even know?!

Calls my home number several times a day and never leaves a message. I don't answer calls of numbers I don't know.

They're calling about a debt owed by my ex-son-law. I don't know where he is now, and don't dislike him. The divorce was over eleven years ago, so I assume it's not valid at this point, anyway. However, I keep getting calls. The called will NOT say who they represent, although according to the internet, it may be Jefferson Financial or AFNI. Have sent cease and desist letters to both companies, so we'll see. I can't imagine why they call me, unless they hope I will be sufficiently upset to put pressure on him or his family. As stated earlier, I don't even know where he lives at this point.

They call trying to collect debts that are too old for real collection even if the person is not you. They will not listen to anything you say and just keep calling you a liar. a debt from someone .i never heard of. they are calling me trying to collect
