I received a voicemail on my cell from Matthew Roberts stating that he needed my work address or my home address to serve me papers. When I returned his call he stated that I owed over $1400.00 on a Credit Card from 2007 and that he was attempting to collect. He was willing to settle for $875.00 if I could make the payment right then. I refused and he threatened to call the Sheriff's Office. After I got off the phone I went online and filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Called my cell phone, then my home phone same day. A trick I see this particular number do is put you on hold, then transfer you to an answering machine while on hold wih out you even realizing it. Assuming this is an attempt to get whatever info you provide for call back. Maybe in hopes they can get another number to harrass you? Talked to an unidentified male, likely the "Mathew Robert" that has been referenced in reports ive seen about this number. Called several times, same POS answering.

Caller claimed to be Mathew Roberts and needed to contact me about a legal matter.

The caller, Jackson Davis & Associates calls every day at the same time. When I do return the call I am disconnected. the number is 866-816-1095. And, the 'UNKNOWN' apears on my phone when the call comes in.

I received a call today left on my voicemail at work. The person was Matt Robers, number 866.816.1095 saying I owed Orchard Bank Visa over $2900 for a card I authorized in 2008 with my drivers' license and how would I like to take care of it. I asked him what the last purchase was, he couldn't tell me. I asked him how this was attached to my social. He said because I authorized it and I asked him if he could please send me the information. He said it was a summons and he would deliver it to 23 Chase Drive. When I told him that was not my address and never has been he asked what my current was, I told him it's on the credit bureau report he mentioned. He hung up. I called back and said "We were disconnected." He said, "No. You said you wouldn't pay so I'll see you in court." I left a message asking for an address so my bankruptcy lawyer could contact him officially. Guess that's done.

I left a post on this company earlier however, I did get a hold of this pathetic scamming so called collection company and spoke to a hedious gross of perhaps a woman. When asking information (My credit right) she rudely asked me if I wanted to be served and sued? A threat I've been called on not only by these people, but by other so called collection companies with the same voices as these people for 7 months now. I said yes please, serve me! What surprised me is that she had my home address I do not use. I have a PO BOX my mail goes to. So now these morons have my address which alarmed me. After she called me names, I hung up. Wouldn't you know? The same robo message called me the next day! So, with that said, I filed and complaint with the FTC, CONSUMER fraud agency. BBB, California attorney Generals office, and, the FBI consumer fraud agency! I am not playing these games anymore. Oh, and don't forget to file a NO CONTACT registry on the national DO NOT CALL LIST so in the event they call again, you can persue a law suit for harassment! Folks, these people are using multiple different business names but are the same people. It is a scam. Their whole approach to scamming you into giving them your credit card and money is intimidation and name calling with heavy threats! They no they are scamming people because they are barking dogs with no teeth!

I received a phone call from Mathew Roberts as well and told me to call back this number because they had papers to deliver at either my work place or residence, I did not return the call.

I received a recording when I called back and asked where I was calling I was told I was being sued. I asked for more information they told me to give them my name I said I am returning your call. After I refused to tell them my name chick told me they will freeze my bank when I pointed out they don't know who I am the chick called me a lowlife and hung up. They are scum.

the man called my hubson cell phone I called matthew Roberts no 18668161095 got someone else he said matthew was busy he said my husben owe 2950.00 I told him I didn,t have it he hung up

They have been calling my house relentlessly for 1 1/2 weeks. They call multiple times a day. They are asking for the name of a person that doesn't even live at my number. When I get them on the line they are rude and hang up on me.

I called back and spoke to a very rude woman who started yelling at me syaing that I should pay my bills or I wouldn't be getting these phone calls. I proceeded to tell her that their were many complaints against them and that I knew they were trying to scam me for money. When I mentioned that I filing a police report she hung up on me.

I have been getting these calls for a couple of months now. It started off with a Brian Scott calling and then it went to a Matthew Scott and now it is Matthew Roberts. It is annoying yes but I just let it go to voice mail. I am sure if they have papers they want me to have they now where I am. I have lived and worked in the same places for 3 years now.
