For the last three days I've been receiving a automated message from Jackson Davis and Associates stating they have legal documents for someone I do not know. I the call to advise them to remove the phone number from their system. The first agent I spoke with, who was a male, asked for my name. I stated I will provide you with any of my person information, I'll give you my phone number so you can remove it from your system. He then laughed stated, "yea right I'll update our systems, enjoy continuing to receive our calls" then disconnected.
Matthew Roberts this is a refreshing new twist to collection calls. I have a popular name and get a lot of them. When you can come up with paper that says that I owe the debt I will pay it to the person that I made the contract with not some collection agency..
You cant block the number if it comes in as private thought, right?
When you start asking them questions and they tell you to go F yourself you know you're talking to a real professional

If you are on Do Not Call Registry you can file complaint here:
https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
From the site:
1: You may file a complaint if you received an unwanted call after your number was on the National Registry for 31 days.
2: You may also file a complaint if you received a call that used a recorded message instead of a live person (whether or not your number was on the Registry).
