First call: Ins Co called thanking us for our business. Gave name of a local agent but it was not our agent. Second call: A phone message received next day from Ins Co asking us to call 1-866-377-4122 within 3 days for very important message. When we called, it was a recording from Allstate Ins & said that a premium of $81.15 was past due & needed to be paid right away. They gave several options to pay it. I chose "pay agent". Then they gave a number (1-866-822-8769) to call for further information. I called & person answered Allstate; he spoke very broken English & had hard time looking up what I owed & on what. (We have more than one policy.) Eventually he told me my homeowner's policy had been cancelled. I told him I would call my own agent; then he ask me for my SS#. I hung up! Called my own agent who verified that all was fine with our policies.
