Just got a call from these guys. They asked for me with my full name. He said it was about Hydro Quebec at my old address (I moved two months ago from Quebec to Ontario). I have no idea how they got my new number to reach me as this new phone number isn't even under my name. Long story short, I know I owe absolutely nothing to Hydro Quebec as everything was paid. In fact I have no outstanding debts with anyone. He kept asking me for the number of my old Hydro account with Hydro Quebec. He said he needed to confirm who I was before releasing any information to me. His accent was very thick (like if he was calling from overseas) and I could barely make out what he was saying in English or in French. I told him I don't know who he is, the company he's with or the reason for his call so I'm not releasing any information as he could be a scammer. He got upset and said he knew everything about me at which point I interrupted his little tantrum and told him I don't know who he is and I'm not releasing any information and hung up. Also I added this number to my list of blocked callers.
