(866) 840-4148

I got a message from this number too (in 2021). I called Progressive's Fraud line and they said to ignore this message. This is not how they (Progressive) communicate with customers about important messages regarding your account.

WARNING!

"This is an important message from Progressive for (XXXXXX). Please call 1 866 840 4148 and enter message code number 07XXXXX to retrieve your message. Thank you from Progressive Direct Insurance Company, or one of the corporate affiliates. Bye."

That is what I get from a call I get from 866-840-4246. I called Progressive as I seriously doubted that they would leave such a message. I verified that they did not and do not call or leave messages as these.
