This number harassed my wife's cell phone continuously on Sunday night (making it unusuable) and again starting at 6:59 monday morning.

Call after call. Each time there is only the choice of opting to pay or provide payment account information -- BUT NO IDEA WHO IS TRYING TO CALL.

If it isn't a scam, they missed a damned good chance.

If it's a real company, then they need to clean up their act and do it right.

...and, just for good measure... If you're a correctional facility using this "service," then you're NOT providing telephone access to your inmates, because not many people are going to blindly accept the recorded sales pitch of this company.

I called the Federal Bureau of Prisons communications division and THEY NEVER HEARD OF THIS OUTFIT!!!

Also... they cost me a couple of bucks a month that I have to pay now in order to block their number from my cell phone.

I'm sure we'll all be hearing more about this stuff in the near future. Maybe the people running this scam will have to use that number to reach people on the outside!

I got a call from that number, I didnt answer it as i didnt know who it was. I called the number back and it was a recording saying that an inmate from a correctional facility was trying to get ahold of me. I dont know anyone incarcerated, so I find it kind of fishy. Someone is scaming and they need to get caught.

I am Federal Law Enforcement and someone called my cell phone from the above number. I have already blcoked my number. If it happens again I will sue the company allowing inmates to call my number that is blocked and unlisted. So this number better not call again if so the company that allows this to happed will be with me in court!!!

My local phone company gave me the following two numbers to call to get your number blocked from future calls: 1-877-650-4249 (out of state calls) or 1-800-844-6591 (for calls from local correctional facilities). I called the second number and talked to a rep from securestech.net who indicated my number would be blocked within 48 hours. The are a company that sets up these calls for inmates.

I get 5 or more calls from the Correctional Facility

It is constant every other day. I have blocked the calls but I can see how many times they called and the time of day they called online. They keep calling and calling. There are several companies who specialize in setting up accounts for inmate phone calls via a credit card, or who will make individual collect calls for inmates. From what I can find out, these companies contract with individual city and county jails and state prisons to handle inmate phone calls. I haven't found a solution except to block the calls and place on "Do Not Call List". Also, there are other numbers I am receiving which are the same thing...inmate collect calls. There has to be a company responsible for this as there are many in this type of business. Called a couple and of course they know nothing. This has been going on for me for a few weeks now. Phone service can't do anything nor the police.

I keep receiving calls from this number. They have called every 5-10 minutes in the last hour. No one says who they are, it is just the automated voice. It says the call is coming from Fulton Prison in Missouri. I do not know anyone from Missouri. The calls are getting really annoying since the calls are all after 11:00 p.m.

pretends to be someone from a jail and wants your credit card number to continue but if you call back its just a scam, not a jail.
