This happened to me. Same company kmassist.com. I now have to file a complaint and wait to see if I can get my money back. What a joke. These people need to be stopped.

i called the bank and they refunded my money but had to get a new debit card in case they try to use it again!! blah!!! wish there was something we can do to track these people

I did not receive a call but did have a preauthorized payment hit my account. The first one was for 75.44 the other for 2.99. I called the number appearing on my bank statement and sat on hold like everyone else until i was hung up on. I tried to google the site kmassist.com...nothing. I did see someone mention something about the acai berry diet pill which I had signed up for the free trial period and later cancelled so I wouldn't get billed for the monthly automatic shipping that you basically sign up for when accepting the free trial. They gave me a very hard time with cancelling it so I am assuming it is the same aholes. Had to cancel my debit card and file a report for a preauthorized payment in hopes of the bank refunding my money.

I received an email this morning, thanking me for placing an order, and that $2.95 was being charged to my account, and that KMASSIST.COM was the company that would appear on my creditcard statement. I never placed any order. I was unable to reach them by phone and I contacted my credit card company to advise them. This card has never been used online to charge anything!!! This is scarey!!!

saw a pending charge to my credit card for $85.61 plus $2.90 for international transaction. Had received no phone calls just the bill. My banks tells me there is nothing they can do to stop it. Once it hits i have to then claim on the bank and hope to get it back. If i get hit again they suggest cancelling the card. What a pain.

IV just had the same thing happened first I check my bank account and i see this charge from KMASSIST.COM for 2.95$ so I call the bank and because the funds were still on hold all the information they could give me was this 800 number. Then later that night I get a call from the bank that they had tried to take out 87.13$ lucky I have the best bank in the world and they denied the charge and called me. I did have to cancel my bank card.

No one called me from this number. I saw a charge of $35.81 on my account from Kmassist.com. I typed in Kmassist.com and it brought me to a very generic website with this number as their customer service line. When I called I was placed on hold and waited 20 minutes until I finallly hung up. I am in the process of reporting them as a fraud charge with my bank. Now I am going to have to change all my account numbers and get new cards!

Same with me. No call, debit charge of 35.81. I called 1-866-9425246. When someone finally answered I was hung up on. When my bank called there was no answer. I later called there was no answer. Come on Bank of America how about some help!
