Got call from the same "Agent Michael Scott" but this time he said he was from "The Publishers" calling about a claim form I filled out 6 months ago (of course, I did no such thing). So, what is it that they want? I never called him back
I just had the same "Agent" Michael Scott from the "Gaming Commission" call and left me a voice mail. On one hand, I want to call back this 866 number and F*** with him, but on the other hand, I heard that sometimes these numbers can have charges attached to them without the caller knowing.
Got a call from Washington DC, saying I won the lottery in Florida,
total $285.00. Michael Scott, from the gaming commission wants $550.25 to receive my award. I looked up this number. He is calling me
from Kansas, not Washington DC. I told him to take a picture of my check
and email it to me. He said he cannot do that. I asked him if I came to
Washington DC to get my check, and his reply was I can fly there to "see"
it, but cannot take it, as it has to be delivered. Mr. Scott then said, when
you get to Washington, I'll send a driver to pick you up. What a scam
Phone numbers given me. Michael Scott, (Kansas, not Washington)
866-978-5995. The Lottery in Florida...786-235-8978. I still need to find out on the internet where that phone number is. BEWARE.
