SCAM! They said they were from Potomac Edison with an immediate shut off. I called Potomac Edison directly to verify that my account was in good standing (I have auto pay). Then called back the scam line at extension 183. I asked them who they were again, they said Potomac Edison Disconnection Department. I said I called Potomac Edison and they hung up on me.

THIS IS A SCAM!!! I was called from this number today. They asked for the business owner and told me that our electric bill was over due and scheduled to be turned off and They wanted me too make a payment over the phone. My account is not past due it is paid in full at this time. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO TO THIS NUMBER.
