They call me everyday to tell me they’re from the billing department. When I called back they wanted my name address and date of birth to “verify”. When I asked for a company name they said “TRC” and gave me some random address in Las Vegas? I asked what TRC stands for and the woman told me “ma’am it’s just initials”. What?? LOL. I then asked her if hey had a do not call list and of course as telemarketers and scam callers they have to say yes, she said yes. Then, I told her that I work for a call center as a telemarketer and she chuckled and said “okay ma’am I’ll put you on the do not call list have a good day.” I worked for a company similar to this who collected money owed on time shares (not real), thank god I left! All they do is take your info so they can call you more. Tell them to put you on the do not call list, if they call again - report them. Get a lawyer. File for harassment.

The company isn't necessarily trying to collect a bill from YOU. They did an online search of the person with the credit problem and your name popped up as someone who knows that person. Chances are, someone else in your family (even extended family) is receiving the same calls from this number. As for me, I have no idea who they're looking for, so I won't answer.
