Claimed to be calling from the US government, offering a $9,000 grant. When I asked for a call back number so I could further research, he just hung up on me.

Unlike others, I got a call from this number consisting of a live woman (after a long delay) claiming to be from Medicare. Since I blocked her at this point, I don't know what else she was planning to say, but I'm certain it was a scam.

They left a message saying my Microsoft Windows has been compromised. Then, just in case the person doesn’t have Microsoft Windows, they say that if I received this message in error to ignore it.

Called at 4:42AM left vm claiming to be Microsoft. Scam

They first said that someone was currently logged into my Windows account and was trying to hijack my computer. My computer was right in front of me and not turned on. I asked them to speak with my husband who is a College Professor of Computer Technologies. They hung up on me.
If this IS Microsoft, Come ON! Are You getting desperate?

just received a call, went to voicemail. The voicemail stated they were calling from Microsoft and my credentials might have been compromised. And they give a number to call.
