You really need to loosen the tin-foil hat you're wearing! They are not "getting into your Wi-Fi if you answer" and getting a call blocker does not give them "permission to go through your phone and into your home computer".

Male caller, American accent - asked to speak to Clarence, then said he was calling on behalf of Disabled Veterans from the United Way and looking for a donation. I hung up, number blocked.

Male caller, asking for money for disabled veterans. Wanted to know if I'd send a donation if he sent me an envelope. I said I'd have to research it first. Caller ID just said "Illinois Call

Called at 8:05 a.m. No message left. What nerve calling so darn early. Thankfully, I turn off the volume at night.

Automated “donation center” message. Robot asked me “Hi, is Karen there?”. I didn’t reply. The bot asked again. When I didn’t reply, they hung up.
