Claimed to be with Missouri Lottery and that I had won $750,000. Told him I do not play lottery and he proceeded to tell me that my name could be entered from either paying my utility bills our using my debit or credit card at Walmart. I told him this is a scam and he told me since we were on a recorded line I could ask him to donate it to charity which is what I did and hung up.
This person identified himself as James Washington, CEO of Publisher's Clearing House and he said I had won $250,000--I hung up. He called back 2 times I answered again and he was upset that I had hung up. I told him my cell number was not published anywhere and I hadn't entered any contest and didn't trust the situation. He kept on talking (hard to understand with a very thick accent). He started asking questions about whether I owned my home, my car, did my kids live at home, etc. and I told him that all that crap sounded too complicated for me to win anything and I was going to hang up again and DO NOT call back. He didn't.
sweepstake claiming I won over $20, 000
