Just got a call from the same number and he said he was from the Publisher Clearing House. Wany me get a pencil and paper to write down the information when I said I have my paper and pencil he hung up. The may have been recording my voice. 876-498-0189

I just received a call from a "Mr. Bill Cooper" claiming that I had just won $1.5 million, a 2019 White Mercedes, and $5000/week for life (does that come out of the $1.5 million?). Anyway, I told him that I figured this was a scam and he asked, "Have you ever won the lottery before?" When I said "no" he said, "Well, that's why you're skeptical." I then asked him for the Publishers Clearing House's phone number so that I could call and confirm this was not a scam. He gave me 956-294-3620 and said that I needed to call them quickly before I lost my opportunity at this money. He went on to reassure me (several times) that this was not illegal money or drug money. He gave me a bar code #8084169629, a receiving #6065991, a confirmation #000404 and then his Federal Trade Commission badge #232373BLC. He said they were just waiting on me to pay the 1% tax on the prize and register with the Federal Trade Commission. He repeatedly said that Mr. Steve Harvey and the prize patrol were only 5 minutes away. When I asked how exactly to register with the FTC, he said, "Go to the nearest Wal-Mart and I'll stay on the phone with you to tell you what to do once you get there." I then said, "Oh, there it is. Now I know this is a scam." He said, "You're just a fucking bitch! Get off my phone!" I started laughing and told him it was a good try and that I admired his commitment to the scam. He screamed, "How many dicks do you suck a day??!!" I continued to laugh and he hung up on me.

I received an Scam call today supposedly from Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes. The caller told me his name was Floyd Spencer #244 ext. #8 called us on was 876-425-3989, and that we were the second place winners of the contest with a winning sweepstakes number #303890546733. He said that we had won $950,000.00 dollars and a 2018 GMC Sierra Denali Luxury Pickup Truck. He said all we needed to do was call another number 876-445-4037 and ask for the prize director, someone named David Newman, and give him our winning sweepstakes number above. And so while I was turning on our computer to do some research regarding this call of good fortune out of the blue... he called me back again! I told him that I had not yet had a chance to call, but that I would. I lied... So then I finished my research and sure enough... it's a scam! I found other folks on line who supposedly spoke with someone calling themselves Floyd Spencer a year ago on Nov. 9th. 2017. And other post of someone in Mar 10, 2017 spoke with someone calling themselves another name, but awarding the exact same winning contest prizes! Folks... if it sounds too good to be true, most likely it isn't what they want you to think it is? But... it might be so... do your homework! It took me about 10-15 min. to figure out that this was a scam... if I can do it, so can you. Anyway, hope this information helps you avoid something like this.

PS: On the official website of Publishers Clearing House they tell you that they would never call or email you, but for any prizes over $500.00 the would send you a certified letter in the mail.

mans names was floyd spencer said i won $9050 and a new pick up truck they r dropping it off tonite lol gave me a number to show them when UPS shows up. My husband listen to all this so i was just checking i figured it to be a scam.
