Michael Washington called me and said I had won 2.4 million dollars, a 2018 Mercedes Benz, and 20,000 a month for life. After talking for a few moment he said I needed to call back with me wife to arrange for them to come to the front door to award the prize. After we hung up, I looked up his name on the internet and saw about the scam. I called back and asked why he was doing this to people...of course, he just hung up.
A man identified himself as Michael Washington. He told me I had won a Publishers Clearing House prize of 1.5 million dollars and a 2016 Buick SUV. He was sending a woman named Carolyn Davis to my home to bring the money along with two security guards and they would escort me to my bank. I suggested that I would prefer using local law enforcement to do the escort and he asked, "Don't you want the prize?" I replied sure but I just want local law enforcement to do the escort and he asked me why. I told him this whole thing sounded like a scam to me. All the time he was talking there was a rooster crowing in the background. Dead giveaway!
