called on my landline asking me to return a call to that 800 number, said they were a collection agency and any information would be used in court. This is a non-published phone number that I use in my consulting service, that is paid to Comcast. There is NO DEBT associated with this phone number. It is NOT a phone number that I ever give out, my company has a service that transfers any calls made to my extension at my company to that landline and that's all it's used for
These people call repeatedly, even on weekends. I once talked twice in one day to two different people calmly explaining that noone by that name lived at this number. The second guy was more aggressive. He said my credit was being used by this person. I told him to send me the paperwork sent to the person using my number. Wouldn't even entertain the idea. Nor would he tell me the name of the company.
We then got into a Judge Judy exchange where I told him I'd report him for harassing me and him shouting at me that I'd better listen up because my credit was being ruined. I did her, "Are you trying to talk over me?" until he hung up.
Now if I answer the phone, which I often do as I don't look to see the number before accessing the call, and I use my name as this is a business line, they hang up. I think they've added a note.
Extremely rude, very harrassing.
Problem: Repeated recorded messages for someone I don't know from caller ID "800 Service" that claims to be "EOS CCA, a collection agency." This was the basic content of my detailed complaint.
Solution: Better Business Bureau complaint
To stop wrong number calls from EOS CCA, I suggest you file a complaint with the BBB, or contact Collecto, Inc. directly at 800-886-9177. Do not return calls to 877-207-1406. You'll be talking to the wrong person. If you contact Collecto, Inc. provide your telephone number. If you have an unlisted number, say so. You should not reveal your address or other personal information. The advantage of contacting the BBB is a documented BBB Complaint ID and a written confirmation from Collecto, Inc.
I commend the BBB for their assistance that was extremely helpful even beyond my expectations.

They called me looking for my dead beat brother in law. As he is a dead beat, this could be legit.
