Automated message claiming I was pre-approved to recieve a cash loan that was to be deposited within a few minutes into my account.
The telemarketers have been calling constantly with a machine. I have been on the no call for over 3 years
They still keep on calling
I have communicated with the FCC, they still call
The machine says if you press 9, they will not call you again. They still call, my machine gets filled from their calls
From what I have read, and the number that is displayed when they called me, there are several different phone numbers that these guys call from. The one that is showing up on my phone is 1-877-807-4711. They offer a cash advance and/or an auto loan. They ask you to press 1(yes) or 2(no) to answer the question (do you own a checking account?). Then they tell you that you have been approved for up to $1,500 and to read the terms, go to www.yourbalancecheck.com. When you put in the web address, you are flooded with complaints about this company. Also, the phone keeps ringing for quite a while. Their computer keeps calling you over and over. I did not give out my info, but I read many complaints from people who really needed a loan, and thought they had found an answer. These people gave their information and were told to go the the website to see how much money they had been approved for, only to find there was no website. There are several complaints, quoting several different phone numbers and the same exact strategy. Please, beware, and don't let the desperation of your situation persuade you to give your information out before checking and verifying that the company is a legitimate business. I hope these folks get caught and are forced to deal with the consequences of scamming innocent people out of their bank information.
Got a call on my cell phone about a credit offer. Computer generated call. There was an option to be removed by pressing "9". Then it asked if I was sure and to press "1".
