these people have been calling my work number and say that they are calling from capital one. i have launched a complaint to capital one inquireing about this number belongin to them , i have yet to be confirmed. now i do not answer when they call but they call about 5 to 10 times a day its annoying.

I have asked these callers 11 times to remove my number from their calling list, but still receive at least 4 calls daily starting at 7:00AM

They called a family member of mine looking for me. Asking for my phone number. My family member asked for their name, number and business... they would not give their information. They were acting very rude and weird. My family member called the number back and spoke with a different person, who finally said they were Capital One. But would not cooperate and would not give her their information.

So unacceptable.

Called this number. Person with accent (possibly from India?) asked if I had a Capitol One credit card? I said I DO NOT. She said she would put my number in for removal from their system and apologized for the inconvenient phone calls. I HOPE this is the fact.

I usually ignore any 1-8--, 1-877, 1-888, etc. or "unavailable, private, unknown, etc." phone calls thanks to the wonderful invention of the caller ID and now the number even shows on your TV screen - awesome. I have been home recuperating from a broken ankle since May 22nd and this particular number has been calling every single day sometimes as much as 8 or 10 times a day at all hours so today I finally answered it out of sheer curiosity and someone on the other end asked for my daughter is has not lived here for a good 8 years or so now. I told the person who said that the call may be recorded this and she apologized and then asked if I had a number in which to reach her. At that point I asked who was calling and what it was in reference to and there was dead silence on the other end so I asked again, still silence; so I hung up. Then I went online and typed in the number and saw numerous complaints about this number and that they are "supposedly" a branch of Capitol One. So, I decided to launch my complaint. I don't know if they will call again or not now that they know that the person they are looking for does not live here anymore.

nobody on the line. seeing online its a bogus call from an affiliate of capital one. I have no capital one accounts. two calls in 20 mins. no one on line both times.
