This is legit, it's for their delivery services. It's the logistics part of delivery, not like the sales / website where you would call if you need customer service. Amazon gave me this number to call to speak to the team or company that arranges the actual delivery, when two days in a row they reported my package as "undeliverable". The reason was they couldn't find the house, after calling this number the package was delivered fine the next day.
This is legit. They call when they can't deliver something.
Though it's often their fault. My instructs clearly state deliveries have to occur between 7:30AM and 2PM. So they show up at 4PM and are shocked that everything is closed!
