i received a call from this number who told me that they were going to be taking out 25% in wage garnishments if I did not settle the matter today. I called back to find out what this was about and she told me they were from PDLR group and were attempting to collect a debt on an outstanding loan I had with a payday loan place. I asked who the payday loan place was and she did not tell me who the pay day loan place was just that it was taken out with my bank META BANK (which I happen to know is a prepaid debit card I had gotten before my current bank) and she proceeded to tell me that the check I had written from this bank bounced and asked me if I switched banks. I advised that I knew this was a scam because for one the bank she referenced was a prepaid debit card and there for did not have checks that could be "written" on it nor did I take out a payday loan. She proceeded to tell me that I in fact did take out a loan in the amount of $400 and they would start garnishing my wages. I stated that I have and will continue to speak to the authorities since it is a scam and would be considered theft if they started a garnishment. After I told her this she got irate with me and stated they would start garnishing my wages for the original creditor. I asked yet again who the original creditor was and she replied, "GOOD DAY!!" and disconnected the call. This is a scam and please do not give them any information. Also, by law they have to provide you with written proof that there is a legitimate debt as well as it has to be taken to court before a garnishment process can begin. These people are trying to use scare techniques to get money out of innocent people and sadly enough, it works in some cases. Don't be fooled.

This lady by the name of Ms Sean called saying that I owe for a loan and thy were going to garnish my wages if they don't get it settled today. I told her I would mail a payment but that wasn't goo enough. I gave her a fake card number and hung up she called back and wanted a good card number but I hung up on her They called back and I cursed her out she also cursed me calling me b**ches and wh**es and telling me how stupid I was I told her she right I am stupid for still holding this phone conversation.

I kept getting phones abount wage garnisment. I contacted PAyDAy ONe and My name is not inthe system I contacted the police department and will see what haPPENS

I just rec'd a call at work from this "company". A Ms. Brown left me a message that she had paperwork ready to file to suspend my driver's license if I didn't call her back and set up payment arrangements. The number came thru the caller id as UNKNOWN and so I sent the call to vm and they called again. I let it roll to vm again. It appears it's a scam, so I'm not going to even worry about it. If it shows up on my credit report later, then I'll deal with it.

This is the second time this "company" has contacted me. The first was form Ms. Felix several months ago threating to garnish my check for a payday loan I did not take out. When I tried to get information about the company I suppossedly owed money to they gave me a bogus # to call. They also gave me a bogus fax # when I tried to send them proof that I did not owe anything. None of the dates matched up to anything similar to what I was being accussed of. I did nothing and no garnishment has happened.
I was contacted again today by Ms. Thompson threatinging to garnish my wages again.
How can we stop these people?
