total phishing expedition - I don't have anything with CIBC

They call with an automated recording at all hours of the day or night

Calls me 5+ times per day and leaves voicemails.

its if your acct is in the minus for too long they call to see when you can take it out of the minus and have your acct for 3 days into the positive. when you have an overdraft acct it is ligit

I just got a call from this number and CIBC does not have an american number...at least not for Canadian customers...I am wondering how many of you use paypal, and is it strange the number is close to that of paypal? Not to say its paypal calling but i wonder if a worker is doing this?

Got a call from this number (18772753961) today, it is either cibc or is a very good fake.
It uses the same pre-recorded voice as the cibc credit services line on the back of my visa card. It knew my full name including middle initial (I assume it is matching it from my cellphone number, though that shouldn't have my middle initial on the call display) and the end of the card number I use for my credit line, it said that I had a minimum payment due of $47.something and gave me options, one of which was to make a payment in the next 2-5 days which I planned to do anyways once I get paid.

I called the number back after reading some posts on the internet after doing a google search, and hung up just before I was to go through account verification, as I am not entirely sure it is CIBC.

The number is actually CIBC not phishing.

Ive received multiple calls per day from this number, also email claiming CIBC has been trying to contact me, and at home number. I answered the home number as we run a business, so I HAVE to answer all calls, and it was CIBC, urgent message, to give me important information! about..... how to make my account better. ugh. I don't answer any 1-8** numbers. EVER

They started calling me this week. I thought it might really be CIBC but now I am afraid to call that number back. I will call the number on the back of my card instead.

They keep calling but never leave
messages. I answered, and had computerized voice tellin me it was CIBC calling about an "urgent banking matter". CIBC usually has a person call if there's an urgent matter. Later I had a text saying they'd been trying to reach me with an "urgent message" and to respond with a text.
They've got to be Phishers.

I have had a call from this number several times over the course of a week. I did not recognize the number so I did not answer the calls. I just received another call from them so I looked the number up and found your information. Many thanks for posting this information online.
