A man called me with the caller id 9729142528. he left a message saying he is from credit operation and it is for a collected debt. told me to call 8772783677. I think it is a phishing scam.

I just received a call from this number and the man on the other end wouldn't even let me speak. he kept telling me to shut the fuck up. then when i called the number back he answered it again and i hung up. he said he was from some credit company regarding a personal business matter and didnt even care that i was ill and out of work and broke.

Called my cell phone several minues ago. My policy is that I don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number. According to a reverse-lookup app on my phone, this is a debt collector. I don't have any delinquent debts.

called 10/15/12 near 2:15pm ; knew my first and middle name, wanted to discuss an important financial matter with me. wanted to confirm my address. I refused to discuss anything with someone who would not identify themselves.

I believe it is a scam.
Called again the next day and left a msg about some credit issue. I still believe it is a scam. Not sure how to stop them from calling.
