Government departments don't make calls on the weekend. Obvious attempted scam.
Called my mobile number around Tuesday 9:30 AM . She started asking questions on a recorded line for some public health survey . Said she's with Center for Disease Control. The survey is for residents of DC only, which I am not and asked them to remove my number from their list.
Caller: Department of Public Health?
Call to my mobile phone during Sunday dinner. Caller said they were "with" the DC department of public health and wanted information from me for a survey.
Pushy caller - would not take my mobile number off their list.
Caller: Government?
