DCM services...called about a deceased relative....asked if i was the authorized person to handle estate...they had my cell number and the name of the deceased...they refused to say why they were calling, so i refused to give them any information

They called us about a recently passed member of our family and said they were collecting unpaid bills. Once I heard what they wanted I hung up...….I knew it was a scam.

Scum of the Earth trying to collect money from bereaved relatives for settled bills, etc.

Not sure why this came up as BBB. People have reported on 800notes that it is bill collectors trying to collect for a deceased person. My Dad passed away suddenly in July. His estate is settled and there is no $ left.

Caller asking about my Mom final estate and who in charge of her account. My mother passaway 8wk ago. All her affairs are paid and close. So if you get a call like this, please get an address to were to send the check to. Then send a bill and make it certified. And file it with The Better Business Bureau and The Attorney General's office of your state. ;D
