Got the text that a Federal Union card was canceled, though I do not own one. What does it mean?
I received this message along with a few friends on 10/10/10. This IS A SCAM. Apparently when you call the number back they try to get information from your actual debit card. I work at a local Federal Credit Union and know for a fact that we do not deactivate cards and send out a text message to inform our members to call a number to reactivate. If you are ever in doubt, CALL your financial instituiton to confirm before you EVER give out any account/personal information.
