Even while PAMF is a legit business, but from research done by attorneys appears to be directly related to a complete scam that they do to who knows how many patients. And as such also appears to be directly related to the Financial Hardship Packages they "supposedly" offer. *example, and ex patient has a balance that they could not pay in full due to financial inability or loss of income due to a medical issue. So, they get nasty about the bill or even before they get nasty if a patient asks about financial assistance they "promise" to send out the paperwork immediately strange that they can't/don't just give it to the person(s) right then an there while you are in their office(s) paperwork frankly never gets sent. So after calling, and calling, and calling, and pleading for help and to not be turned over to collections they promise again to send the paperwork financial assistance & at the same time often demand you start on a payment plan for the balance to be paid within 6 months regardless of the amount. Rather you have zero income, or are just barely surviving they want balance paid within 6months no matter if a few hundred dollars or hundreds of thousands. This is an unacceptable practice as they demand money, yet drag their feet on getting you the appropriate paperwork and meanwhile usually turn you over to an even nastier collection agency who then tacks on interest and still wants balance due in 6mnths max. Even "if" you get and submit the paperwork and provide ALL info its often denied for with 0 explanation. -X
