fraud call

Financial Asset Management Systems, Inc. (Student Loans Debt Collector) called from (877) 378-3265, they are attempting to collect on my private student loans that defaulted long ago. The charge off period is 7.5 years before it finally fell off my credit report and cannot be put back onto my credit report.

The original debtor, Sallie Mae, the owner of my private loans is still owed the money but they can no longer sue me for it. The letter from Financial Asset Management Systems, Inc. even stated the debt is too old to sue for. It is fine that they called, the phone number they have is only on when I am expecting a call.

They have called very infrequently over the years because of this reason, the inability to get someone to answer AND the phone normally being off daily, weekly. Thankfully all my calls to my personal phone are blocked if the person is not programmed into my phone, so the collection people had no choice but to give up on my personal number, the phone that is always on every day AND it has no voicemail so they have NO IDEA who they are calling.

Caller said they needed to verify it was me before discussing a personal business matter, so asked for my date of birth. HAHA, nope! Not giving that out.
